Legal
Club Lounge (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the platform at clublounge.app and its subdomains. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
This policy applies to visitors of our marketing site, club administrators who create and manage an organization on Club Lounge, and members who join a club through the platform.
When you sign up — either as a club admin or as a member applying to join a club — we collect your name, email address, and any information your club requires as part of the membership application (e.g. phone number, licence type, emergency contact). Clubs configure their own application fields; we store whatever members submit.
Dues and other payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status so we can reflect payment state in the platform.
We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) and use PostHog for product analytics. Analytics data is used to understand how people use the platform and to improve it — not to sell advertising.
We set a session cookie to keep you logged in. We also set analytics cookies (PostHog). Our marketing pages may load Meta Pixel and Google Tag scripts for measuring ad performance if you came from a paid ad. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some parts of the platform will not work without the session cookie.
We do not sell your data to third parties.
Club administrators can see all information that members have provided in their membership profile. This is intentional — the platform is designed to help clubs manage their own members. You should only submit information you are comfortable sharing with your club’s administrators.
Members within the same club can see each other in the member directory. Clubs can configure whether the directory is visible to all members or only to admins.
We use the following sub-processors:
We retain your data for as long as your account or your club’s subscription is active. If a club cancels, we retain org data for 90 days before deletion so that the admin can export records if needed. Individual members can request deletion of their account at any time by emailing us.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@clublounge.app. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are a member of a club and want your membership record removed, we recommend first contacting your club administrator, who can remove you directly from the member list. You can also contact us and we will coordinate with the club.
Club Lounge is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
We use HTTPS for all data in transit. Data at rest is encrypted by our database provider. Access to production data is restricted to a small number of engineers. We use row-level security so that data from one club is never accessible to another.
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email to club administrators or by a notice in the platform. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
